THE BEGINNING
Eight years or so ago, my husband purchased for me, my first Nikon DSLR. It started innocently enough; We had an almost-one year old, and I wanted to take nice photos of him.
It quickly became so much more.
Taking photographs became a creative outlet. It became a way to remember those special days – birthdays, trips to the pumpkin farm, first days of school, baseball tournaments, weddings, births of children – just about anything.
ABOUT ME
I’m a 30-something mom to three boys. I’m fluent in sarcasm. I’ve been involved with the arts since a very young age. I’ve been a web designer & developer for the better part of 15 years. I love all things creative. I have a love for Photoshop (and a tattoo on my forearm to prove it!). My preferred style is lifestyle, and my subject mostly children and families.
THINGS I LOVE
I love Friends (the TV show). Like, a lot. Got Friends trivia? Send it to me. I can probably answer it. I also love The X-Files. Don’t get me started on my OTP, Mulder and Scully. I really love coffee & Starbucks lattes. I love tattoos and have a few. I love dreadlocks (and I have them, too)! Favorite food? Probably pasta.
I binge Netflix shows and documentaries while I’m staying up way past bed time to edit photos. I’m a strange combination of type-a-needs-a-list-and-loves-to-research, and creative. I love long walks through IKEA and sniffing candles at Bath and Body Works… or pretty much anywhere that has candles.
MY GOAL
To not just document, but to provide a creative and unique storytelling experience. I don’t want you to just love your photos, I want you to feel those photos in your bones.
