The short answer would be to wear something you feel wonderful in! The long answer is that this can depend on how many people will be participating in your session, where we decide to take photos, etc. The good news is that we can work together to get you looking and feeling your best. With every booked session, you will get up to an hour of consultation time. I will also send over a wardrobe guide for you to look through prior to your session.

Absolutely! You can purchase prints through your pixieset gallery from a professional lab. If you’d prefer to print at a lab of your choosing, you will receive a hi-res print release with your digitals. 

Yes, and Yes! Firstly, I highly recommend getting a book! You know you have that bookshelf at home with baskets and vases… but not books! Fill it with photo books! Anyway, I digress. Upon delivery of your session, you will receive directions to your pixieset gallery on how to mark favorites. When you choose to purchase a book, I will use the photos you chose as favorites in your book. Books can be ordered through Pixieset!

Yes! I want to make sure you’re happy with your book before we finalize. Included in your book purchase will include 1 round of edits. This will allow you to review, and request any adjustments. Upon completing those edits, you will give your final approval. Any additional edits may results in additional fees. 

EEEK! Babies! First of all, congratulations – babies are the best! Secondly, we can work with whatever makes you feel most comfortable. I can travel to your house and do a session there, or you can come to me. My dining room currently doubles as a studio 😉 But don’t forget, with any booked session, you get an hour of consultation time. You don’t have to choose right away. We can discuss during our consultation time!

By default, any Labor & Delivery session gallery is password protected for your privacy. We can discuss further which – if any – photos you’d rather not have shared on my business photography page. 

With the purchase of every session come up to an hour of consultation time. This gives us the chance to discuss things like location, poses, clothing, etc!

In-home lifestyle sessions are great, because it’s just you and your family, being you, and your family! Depending on the willingness of your participants, you can coordinate clothing to appear more cohesive – avoid character shirts, etc. Or you can just wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable. We would suggest choosing 2 or 3 activities to do while we photograph. Read a book, make coffee, bake a cake or cookies, put together a puzzle, eat pizza – whatever you’d like! And if you need some ideas, we can chat prior to your session!
